Marie and Matt’s Pippin Hill Farm Wedding
When Marie initially contacted us and said she and her fiancé Matt were planning a wedding in Charlottesville, we secretly hoped it would be at a vineyard. Not because we love wine, but because Charlottesville boasts some of the most historic vineyards around and the landscape for a wedding is perfect. Oh, and it's hailed as One of the 50 Most Romantic Wedding Venues in the U.S. by Brides.com. We asked Marie to give me a little story to go along with the video, so have a look below at her details from the wedding. Congrats Marie and Matt!
"Matt proposed, with his great-grandmother’s engagement ring, on the top of the Arc de Triomphe while we were watching the lights on the Eiffel Tower. We wanted our wedding to have the same intimate, family-oriented feeling. Both of our wedding bands are also family heirlooms and we displayed our grandparents’, parents’ and older sisters’ wedding pictures during the reception as well. However, the most important thing to us was the commitment we made to each other, and Pippin Hill Farm provided an absolutely beautiful, romantic setting for us to celebrate.
Our vendors were incredible helping us create the soft, elegant environment we wanted. Southern Blooms by Pat’s Floral Designs used lush, garden flowers, lanterns and candles to enhance Pippin’s Granary and our day-of coordinator, Added Touches, made sure everything ran flawlessly so we could focus on each other and our guests. The Monachetti Team along with Kristen Gardner Photography did an incredible job of capturing not just the day but the emotions as well.
We are forever grateful to our family and friends who shared the weekend with us, it was truly perfect."
