1. National Harbor DC Winter Wedding

This was my second wedding at the National Harbor. If you remember a few months back, I featured Lillian and Montri’s Wedding which also took place at the harbor. This location is proving to be such a perfect spot for weddings.

Rachel and Matt were an absolute blast to work with. They both had such a calm spirit the whole day making the filming process that much easier.

I also once again had the privilege of working with great people throughout the day. Jennifer from Ego Media Photography and Evan from mydeejay.com. This crew helped make the day so much more fun.

  2. Maria and Aaron’s iPhone 4 Wedding Video

This is a very different wedding video then what you may be used to seeing here, but I was so excited by the way it turned out, that I thought i’d share it. Ever since the iPhone 4 came out, and people started talking about the quality of the video it has, it’s made me wonder what it would be like to shoot a wedding using the phone. Well, when I found out my good friend Aaron was engaged to be married, I thought it would be a great opportunity to propose the idea to him. He agreed and boy i’m glad he did.

My goal with this video was to try and create a heart felt wedding video, without using my regular camera or normal effects I do with my other videos. It was an experimental piece, but turned out to work better then I ever thought it would. Here you will find no color corrections, no fancy filters, and no epic slow motion shots. Oh, and an added bonus is that the video was officially released and featured by my very own start-up, BridePOP! Have a look at the video below, and be sure to check out the official post on BridePOP by clicking here.

  4. Meredith and Tommy’s Spring Wedding

It’s always such a pleasure (and so much fun) when I get to do wedding videos for close friends. It was a no brainer for me when Meredith and Tommy expressed an interest in having me cover the video for their wedding. I knew it would not only be a blast, but I also knew I’d be able to capture some super creative stuff. Something Meredith and Tommy were so good at through out the day was making me feel a part of the day. It’s always so refreshing when I do weddings, and the bride and groom take that extra step to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. Thanks guys!

I also had the privilege of working with some great vendors (links below), one of which was an AMAZING photographer. Kristen Marie with Kristen Marie Photography took some great photos, and was an absolute blast to work with. Below the video are a few photos from Kristen’s blog but be sure to see the rest of her post by clicking here.

  5. Denaye and David in Washington DC

Every aspect of this wedding was so AMAZING. From the preparation all the way through to the reception at the Corcoran. I met Denaye and David through my good friends Nicole and Brad from SOTA Dzine (photos below) at the Washingtonian ‘Best Of’ Summer Party. I am so glad I did, they were such a pleasure to work with.

The night before we shot the rehersal dinner on the rooftop terrace restaurant at The Kennedy Center. This was something new for Monachetti, and it was so much fun. Getting the chance to do shoot video for that event helped us feel even more a part of the actual wedding day. I honestly don’t know what I enjoyed more during the day. We spent a lot of time taking pictures with the SOTA team outside in DC and that always helps us get great candid footage (we highly recommend this brides)!

We wanted to say thanks to Denaye and David for such a great time, and wish them the best future together!

Music: All songs by Phoenix from the album Wolfgang Amadeus.

I am continually blown away at the work from SOTA Dzine. Be sure to see more pictures and the original post by clicking here.
