Monachetti has the privilege of having a great videographer and editor on board, and who else would I have shoot and edit my own wedding then him! I was thrilled to have Tyler Davis do the video, and man was I blown away (obviously i’m a little bias). Grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy. My goal with this video was to try and create a heart felt wedding video, without using my regular camera or normal effects I do with my other videos. It was an experimental piece, but turned out to work better then I ever thought it would. Here you will find no color corrections, no fancy filters, and no epic slow motion shots. Oh, and an added bonus is that the video was officially released and featured by my very own start-up, BridePOP! The editing done on the video showed us dancing and cut in and out so well that I actually looked like I have some moves! Our video was posted very promptly and mailed to us in the contracted time. I believe it says we have a few thousand views on vimeo, my husband and I are probably about 1000 of those as we loved the video so much we watched it over and over. The price was very reasonable for the product, he could charge double what he did and I would hire him again! And lastly, Michael is just a cool guy. My good friend and advocate Amy Shey Jacobs from Chandelier Events called me and asked if I was available to shoot a wedding Labor Day weekend in New York City. I am glad I was available, because Marjorie and Adam did it right.

The day started for us at the Trump in SoHo where Marjorie was spending the morning in hair and make-up with a gorgeous view overlooking the city. They also decided to do the ceremony and reception in the hotel, which is always a nice thing for me because everything is in one location, making it super easy to run around and get the shots I need.

I would have to say that the highlight of the day for me (once again) was getting to spend a little time in SoHo with Marjorie and Adam. Mel Barlow was there shooting the photos, and we were able to capture a lot of fun stuff by walking around SoHo for a little. Thanks so much for a wonderful time Marjorie and Adam!

They had a beautiful downtown Philadelphia wedding and took advantage of some of the historic spots which gave their wedding such a timeless feel. It was an honor to be a part of the day. Thank you so much Karen and Ryan! I’ve included some of the photos by Lorraine Daley below. Enjoy!

Michelle and Clay also took advantage of the city and spent a few hours immediately after the ceremony to take a series of photos at different locations. I would have to say that spending this amount of time with the couple is not only always the highlight of my day, but it also allows for so many great opportunities for photo and video. Hint Hint brides  This was my second time shooting a reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts and it once again proved to be perfect.

They were one of those couples who were willing to do anything for the sake of getting fun and memorable shots. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore Maryland. It was a GORGEOUS place to shoot. So many great locations and back drops to make any video or photos look fun.

Recently, I’ve been working with my good friend Tommy Davis to create custom DVDs for all my clients. Below the video are a few photos of Caitlyn and Dave’s DVDs. I think they came out great, and I wanted to be able to show anyone who may be interested in how the final DVDs come.
