1. Caitlyn and Dave’s Baltimore Wedding

It was such a pleasure to work with Caitlyn and Dave. They were one of those couples who were willing to do anything for the sake of getting fun and memorable shots. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore Maryland. It was a GORGEOUS place to shoot. So many great locations and back drops to make any video or photos look fun.

Music: Charlotte Gainsburg “Me and Jane Doe” and Feist “I Feel it All”

Recently, I’ve been working with my good friend Tommy Davis to create custom DVDs for all my clients. Below the video are a few photos of Caitlyn and Dave’s DVDs. I think they came out great, and I wanted to be able to show anyone who may be interested in how the final DVDs come.

  2. Meredith and Tommy’s Spring Wedding

It’s always such a pleasure (and so much fun) when I get to do wedding videos for close friends. It was a no brainer for me when Meredith and Tommy expressed an interest in having me cover the video for their wedding. I knew it would not only be a blast, but I also knew I’d be able to capture some super creative stuff. Something Meredith and Tommy were so good at through out the day was making me feel a part of the day. It’s always so refreshing when I do weddings, and the bride and groom take that extra step to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. Thank guys!

I also had the privilege of working with some great vendors (links below), one of which was an AMAZING photographer. Kristen Marie with Kristen Marie Photography took some great photos, and was an absolute blast to work with. Below the video are a few photos from Kristen’s blog but be sure to see the rest of her post by clicking here.

  3. Denaye and David in Washington DC

Every aspect of this wedding was so AMAZING. From the preparation all the way through to the reception at the Corcoran. I met Denaye and David through my good friends Nicole and Brad from SOTA Dzine (photos below) at the Washingtonian ‘Best Of’ Summer Party. I am so glad I did, they were such a pleasure to work with.

The night before we shot the rehersal dinner on the rooftop terrace restaurant at The Kennedy Center. This was something new for Monachetti, and it was so much fun. Getting the chance to do shoot video for that event helped us feel even more a part of the actual wedding day. I honestly don’t know what I enjoyed more during the day. We spent a lot of time taking pictures with the SOTA team outside in DC and that always helps us get great candid footage (we highly recommend this brides)!

We wanted to say thanks to Denaye and David for such a great time, and wish them the best future together!

Music: All songs by Phoenix from the album Wolfgang Amadeus.

I am continually blown away at the work from SOTA Dzine. Be sure to see more pictures and the original post by clicking here.

  4. Joanna and Justin

Joanna and her family have been a long time friends of mine since I can remember. When her marriage was announced, it was a no brainer that I would want to do her wedding video, and I must say it was such a delight. Getting to visit South Carolina and spend the day with a lot of long time friends, made the whole time that much more enjoyable. I wish Joanna and Justin the best! Enjoy the video!

  5. Alisha and David’s Newton White Mansion Wedding

When Alisha contacted me to do her wedding months back, I was so excited because I hadn’t done a wedding outside at the Newton White Mansion in awhile. It was such a gorgeous fall day, and Alisha and David were so much fun to work with. Enjoy the video and let me know what you think in the comments!

  6. PHOTO SHOOT WITH SOTA DZINE

I wanted to share some fun photos with everyone I recently had done. Nicole and Brad from SOTA DZINE took the amazing pictures, and I couldn’t be happier with how they turned out. Nicole and Brad not only have an amazing talent for creating top notch photography, but during the process they also are super talented with making you feel comfortable. If you are a getting married, or just want amazing portraits done, get in touch with them today. Below is a gallery of some of my favorites. Enjoy and let me know what you think in the comments!

  7. New Monachetti Business Cards!

I wanted to show off my new business cards I am so VERY excited about! They are plastic, all white, and have a gold foil finish. The re-branding was done by my good friend and graphic designer Tommy Davis. I had the cards made by a company called Plastek Cards. I’ve always been inspired by some of the design and feel that certain credit cards can sometimes give you, so I thought applying that concept to my own branding and business. Enjoy! Let me know what you think in the comments!

  8. THE NEW MONACHETTI SITE!

So I wanted to take a minute to let everyone know that I am super excited for this new site! The re-branding, layout, and overall look is something i’m very proud of. A big thank you to my good friend Tommy Davis, who did all the design, and re-branding. He is a super talented graphic designer and you can see some of his work at his website, The Scout Collective.

The new site is something i’ve been itching to have for awhile now. I wanted something to reflect my wedding videos in a simple, yet unique way. At the same time, I needed something that I could completely manage on my own. The whole site is built on WordPress, allowing me to make quick and easy changes at any time. I am working with a developer now to make some subtle, yet fun tweaks to make the site more interactive. So if you see a section that might look a bit un-finished, be sure to check back soon as changes will be happening weekly.

    Thanks!

  9. Eliza and Micah’s New Years Wedding

So much to say about Eliza and Micah’s wedding, I’m not sure where to start. The fact that it was on New Year’s Eve added so much fun and excitement to the whole day. You felt like you were a part of something special, something that will be remembered for years and years to come. From the emotional and heartfelt ceremony at 6th and I, to the never-ending party at Hotel Monaco, I enjoyed myself from beginning to end.

Laura Weatherly from Engaging Affairs also had some great things to say on her own fun blog, Bridal Bubbly. So be sure to check that out.
