I had the privilege of spending the first few hours of the day with Michelle as she got ready at the Hotel Monaco. The Monaco offers so many great video and photo opportunities, as well as giving you a great space to spend time in while preparing for your wedding day.

Michelle and Clay also took advantage of the city and spent a few hours immediately after the ceremony to take a series of photos at different locations. I would have to say that spending this amount of time with the couple is not only always the highlight of my day, but it also allows for so many great opportunities for photo and video. Hint Hint brides :)  This was my second time shooting a reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts and it once again proved to be perfect.

The fact that it was on New Year’s Eve added so much fun and excitement to the whole day. You felt like you were a part of something special, something that will be remembered for years and years to come. From the emotional and heartfelt ceremony at 6th and I, to the never-ending party at Hotel Monaco, I enjoyed myself from beginning to end.
