1. Maggie and Joe’s Washington DC Wedding

Maggie and Joe’s wedding in DC was such a blast. You may remember Regina and Brad’s Wedding we did back in the fall. Well, Regina and Brad were friends with Maggie and Joe, so naturally they connected me to them, and the rest is history.

Maggie and Joe got ready at the Willard Hotel in DC with a ceremony and reception to follow at the Women’s Art Museum. Being at this wedding was a pleasure because their was so much love there for them. The toasts, the atmosphere, you felt like you were a part of something truly special. Enjoy this snapshot from the day. Congrats Maggie and Joe, I wish you the best!

Oh, and Maggie and Joe did a “First-Almost-Look.” What is that? You have go to see. Check it out here. And if you are a couple who wants to stick to tradition, but likes the “First Look” option, this is a GREAT compromise.

  2. Becky and Matt’s Maryland Wedding

So it is rare that I attend a wedding without a camera in hand, but every now and then it happens. Fortunately, I am blessed to have an amazing editor and videographer working for Monachetti. So, when the time comes (for friends weddings i’m a part of) Mr. Tyler Davis consistently steps up, and blows me away with each wedding he does. Look out for many more weddings by Tyler this season.

Becky has been a LONG time friend of mine since we were kids. So when she asked if my company would cover the video for her wedding, I was honored. The day started out in the home she grew up in, in Bowie, Maryland. The ceremony was at her local church, and the reception to follow at the Newton White Mansion. Thanks Becky and Matt for letting us do your wedding! Enjoy!

  4. Amy and Josh’s Baltimore Wedding

Ok, I know. It’s been awhile… a long break from blogging. BUT, with the new season upon us, I figured now would be a good time to stop procrastinating and show you a few new videos and update you on the business. If you’ve noticed on my Facebook Page, i’ve put up a new logo and banner done by my good friend Tommy Davis. This will serve as a little re-brand teaser for awhile, until I can get the new site done which will reflect this style. I’m going for an Anthropologie look. You know, vintage, a bit worn, but still classy and strong. Stay tuned!

Ok, on to videos. First up, is Amy and Josh. These two were just a delight to work with, and ever since we got coffee and met for the first time, I knew they’d be a blast to work with. The wedding was held at the Peabody Library in Baltimore, Maryland. This was the third time i’ve shot there, and I love it. I hope you enjoy the video!

  5. Sophia and Mike’s Sequoia Wedding in DC

Ok, so up next is Sophia and Mike’s epic Georgetown Wedding. I have to apologize because i’ve been so behind with blogging. With shooting every weekend, and the holidays quickly approaching, it gets the back seat sometime. :( But, here I am regardless!

Sophia and Mike’s Wedding was such a blast. It was one of those all day events, that started early in the morning, and went through midnight. By the end of it you feel so exhausted, and at the same time sad, because you don’t want it to end.

I must say that the highlight of the day was the reception at the Sequoia. The lights, the water, the boats, it was awesome. And to top it off, Sophia and Mike had a dance number with the bridal party that was KILLER. If you don’t have time to watch the whole video, then let it load, and jump to the 10:53 mark, you won’t be disappointed. :)

  6. Regina and Brad’s Georgetown Wedding

Regina and Brad’s Wedding was such a treat. After the ceremony at Holy Trinity in DC, we spent some time walking around the church, and got some great shots. We then headed to the Bensten Residence where the cocktail and reception was held. Regina and Brad had a super classy, backyard wedding and a performance by Regina’s Dad that made the night so much fun. Congrats Regina and Brad!

  7. Jessica and David’s National Harbor Wedding

Jessica and David’s wedding day started out at The National Harbor Westin, where they both got ready for what was such a gorgeous day. Jessica contacted me through a mutual friend of ours, Ryan Deal, so the wedding ended up being more personal as I bumped in to more and more people I knew.

They were married in downtown Alexandra with a reception to follow back at The National Harbor’s Sunset Room. I hope you enjoy the video. Congrats Jessica and David!

Music: Norah Jones “Sunrise” and Stars “Set Yourself on Fire.”

  8. Chelsea and Michael’s Maryland Wedding

This is a very special feature today, because it just so happens to be my own wedding video I am sharing! This past August, I was married to my best friend, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect day. We were surrounded by our family and friends and had the best time ever.

Monachetti has the privilege of having a great videographer and editor on board, and who else would I have shoot and edit my own wedding then him! I was thrilled to have Tyler Davis do the video, and man was I blown away (obviously i’m a little bias). Grab a drink, sit back, and enjoy. For those of you interested in the details of the wedding day, see the credits below the video.

  9. Angelica and Scott’s Wedding

Angelica and Scott’s Summer Wedding was so much fun. I had a blast spending time with them both as they got ready at the Courtyard Marriott in Tysons Corner. The ceremony and reception to follow were so special too, filled with lots of laughs and priceless moments. BUT, their is a fun story to share about this couple that makes them a bit different.

If you don’t already know, I was recently Married on August 6 to the love of my life (video and photos to come soon)! I spent a week in Mexico with my beautiful wife Chelsea at Maroma Beach (already wishing I was back there). Well, at the end of Angelica and Scott’s wedding, as I was saying my farewell and asking them where they were off too for their honeymoon… and what do they say? They respond with Maroma Beach!

They then proceed to tell me they are not leaving for another week (doing the post wedding family hang), which would put them at Maroma the same week as Chelsea and I (since we were married the following weekend). Ha! SO, to make a long story short, we got to spend a fun few moments with them in Mexico, making their wedding (and video of course) that much more memorable for me. Congrats to you guys, much love!

  10. Lauren and Ryan’s Summer Wedding

Ok, so I thought it would be a good time to feature the newest wedding video on my blog, before we lose power from Hurricane Irene. This way atleast some of you can get a sneak peak beforehand. :) Up next is Lauren and Ryan’s Wedding. Oh my, where to start.

Lauren and Ryan contacted me over a year in advance, so it was one of those long awaited weddings I was eager to shoot. They were such a fun couple, who’s admiration for each other couldn’t be more evident in the video. Lauren and Ryan’s wedding was also designed by Lauren’s event planning business, so be sure to follow her latest and greatest projects over at BeLovely Events. I’ve included some vendor details below the video, so be sure to check the others out as well. Enjoy!
