1. Michelle and Clay’s 8mm Style Wedding

Last year if you remember, we posted a video we made for Sabine and Jeff which was an edited and color treated wedding video made to look like Super 8mm Film. Well, Michelle and Clay expressed an interest to have the same thing done for them, and we were delighted to do so. Below is the video, we hope you enjoy!

    Music: The Killers “Enterlude”

  2. Michelle and Clay’s Washington DC Wedding

Michelle and Clay were an absolute blast to work with. I had the privilege of spending the first few hours of the day with Michelle as she got ready at the Hotel Monaco. The Monaco offers so many great video and photo opportunities, as well as giving you a great space to spend time in while preparing for your wedding day.

Michelle and Clay also took advantage of the city and spent a few hours immediately after the ceremony to take a series of photos at different locations. I would have to say that spending this amount of time with the couple is not only always the highlight of my day, but it also allows for so many great opportunities for photo and video. Hint Hint brides :)  This was my second time shooting a reception at the National Museum of Women in the Arts and it once again proved to be perfect.

Music: Keane “Better Than This” and Phoenix “Consolation Prizes”

Greg Gibson was there doing the photography, and i’ve included some of his photos below.

  3. Jaime and Rory’s Maryland Wedding

This next wedding took me to Mt. Airy Maryland, where I had the privilege of doing the video for Jaime and Rory’s beautiful Maryland Wedding. Jaime and Rory decided to take advantage of the Linganore Winery which afforded so many great video opportunities.

All songs by Jack Penate from the album “Everything is New”

Also, recently I’ve implemented a new feature on the site allowing you to Share, Like (via Facebook), and Tweet the different videos that are posted. Below each post you will see the options, so if you want, go ahead and use those buttons.

  4. Dara and Josh’s West Virginia Wedding

So the Dara and Josh wedding is the first of many weddings that I shot this summer.

Dara and I have been friends for years, and when she told me she was engaged and wanted me to shoot her wedding, I was thrilled to say the least. They were married in the little town of Philippi in West Virginia, and it was the essence of a DIY wedding. The ceremony was out front of the home she grew up in and reception was out back. It was hard to not feel like you were part of something truly special. I’ve also included a few photos from John Ryan Creative Photography but be sure to see them all on his blog by clicking here.

Music: Sleeping at Last “Hurry” and Peter Bjorn and John “Paris 2004″
