1. Caitlyn and Dave’s Baltimore Wedding

It was such a pleasure to work with Caitlyn and Dave. They were one of those couples who were willing to do anything for the sake of getting fun and memorable shots. The wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Evergreen Museum and Library in Baltimore Maryland. It was a GORGEOUS place to shoot. So many great locations and back drops to make any video or photos look fun.

Music: Charlotte Gainsburg “Me and Jane Doe” and Feist “I Feel it All”

Recently, I’ve been working with my good friend Tommy Davis to create custom DVDs for all my clients. Below the video are a few photos of Caitlyn and Dave’s DVDs. I think they came out great, and I wanted to be able to show anyone who may be interested in how the final DVDs come.

  2. Meredith and Tommy’s Spring Wedding

It’s always such a pleasure (and so much fun) when I get to do wedding videos for close friends. It was a no brainer for me when Meredith and Tommy expressed an interest in having me cover the video for their wedding. I knew it would not only be a blast, but I also knew I’d be able to capture some super creative stuff. Something Meredith and Tommy were so good at through out the day was making me feel a part of the day. It’s always so refreshing when I do weddings, and the bride and groom take that extra step to make you feel comfortable and appreciated. Thanks guys!

I also had the privilege of working with some great vendors (links below), one of which was an AMAZING photographer. Kristen Marie with Kristen Marie Photography took some great photos, and was an absolute blast to work with. Below the video are a few photos from Kristen’s blog but be sure to see the rest of her post by clicking here.

  3. iPad Presentation Box for Wedding Vendors

So even though I have not purchased one yet, I can’t help but notice all the amazing ways the iPad is being used and presented in a business setting. As a wedding videographer, having an iPad presents a whole new way to share your videos, and can be a great tool when meeting with the couple for the first time.

The team over at Avery House Weddings has created an AMAZING way to present your videos and photos to your clients (whether it be in the wedding industry or not). Below are some photos, but be sure to see the rest of the article on ther Avery House blog.

  4. Marriage Proposals Caught on Video

Something I love watching is marriage proposal videos. Their is something about getting to see that moment on video that is so priceless. Over at BridePOP they have a post with 13 different marriage proposals caught on video. I didn’t put all 13 here, but I put one that I thought was pretty fun. Be sure to see the other 12 over on the blog. Enjoy!

  5. Awesome Stop-Motion Engagement Session

So something i’m trying to get better at is blogging. With that, I thought it would be neat to start blogging about other wedding related content, besides just Monachetti’s own videos. So today I thought it would be cool to show off this sweet video we featured on BridePop a few days ago. I’ve put it below, but be sure to see the original post over on the BridePop Blog.

  6. Denaye and David in Washington DC

Every aspect of this wedding was so AMAZING. From the preparation all the way through to the reception at the Corcoran. I met Denaye and David through my good friends Nicole and Brad from SOTA Dzine (photos below) at the Washingtonian ‘Best Of’ Summer Party. I am so glad I did, they were such a pleasure to work with.

The night before we shot the rehersal dinner on the rooftop terrace restaurant at The Kennedy Center. This was something new for Monachetti, and it was so much fun. Getting the chance to do shoot video for that event helped us feel even more a part of the actual wedding day. I honestly don’t know what I enjoyed more during the day. We spent a lot of time taking pictures with the SOTA team outside in DC and that always helps us get great candid footage (we highly recommend this brides)!

We wanted to say thanks to Denaye and David for such a great time, and wish them the best future together!

Music: All songs by Phoenix from the album Wolfgang Amadeus.

I am continually blown away at the work from SOTA Dzine. Be sure to see more pictures and the original post by clicking here.
